Q: we just put up a new fence, but the thing is, my fiancé wanted it to look level instead of it sloping downwards with the hill that’s in our yard, so now at the far end, there is about 8 inches of a gap between the bottom of the fence and the ground. So we've decided that we're just going to build it up when we start planting there. i figured with the amount of dirt/mulch needed to reach that level we're going to have to put in some type of retaining wall or else we're just going to have to keep building it up after it rains, its windy, whatever.
so, if the yard was flat, I could figure this out because it would just be like 2-3 rows of whatever stone we're using, but the fact that its not flat, but we want it appear to be flat.... that’s where I’m lost. the stone we're looking at are 2"tall, so we figured for that part

A: We live on the side of a hill and have many retaining walls of various heights and types.
We have a couple made from keystone concrete blocks. They run into the side of the hill. We began by starting at the low end and laid one row of level blocks until one of them was almost completely buried in the hill. We added a second row and it "died" in the hill about one block further. We continued this process until we got the height we wanted.
As a matter of interest, we some retaining wall made from concrete, some with brick and mortar, some with railroad ties and some with the concrete keystones. All of the walls are about 13 years old. The brick and mortar walls have held up pretty well but one section has had to be repaired due to a large crack. They railroad ties are all beginning to decay and some will need to be replaced soon. The concrete keystones are a solid as the day we put them in.
The bottom line, I would never use railroad ties again but only the heavy concrete keystone blocks or something similar. If you check around, there are some new designs similar to the keystone that is available at most home centers. These look more like field stones and are much more attractive than the ones we used.

What happens after you file Chapter 7 bankruptcy?

You are given a date of what is known as the meeting of creditors (341a hearing). This is generally 30-45 days from the date of filing. The court will notify your creditors of this meeting and that you have filed Bankruptcy. For about 2-3 weeks your creditors may still call you until they are notified

How to add link for videos to your website
This guide aims to tell you how to set the URL that will be opened when you click the video screen or when the video comes to the end, as well as the way to count the video playing hits. Besides, you can also get the method of handling event.
There is nothing to it. Just follow the steps below:
1). Install and launch the Flash Video MX Std
2). Import video
Click the button in the top right corner to import video; of course you can do so many settings as you like by this program, or just forget it, if it is unnecessary.
3). Profile
Go to this interface by clicking "Next", on the player profile tab, you can set the player profile. By default, there is a default profile you can get. What's more, you can create a new player profile, and save it for next using.

Differences on the AVI and FLV Formats
AVI is short for Audio Visual Interleaved. It's a computer graphics animation format used in Microsoft's video for Windows Standard, or a chunk-based container file format for storing sound and moving pictures defined by Microsoft. This format interleaves digitized video frames (or computer-generated frames) and synchronized audio in one file.
AVI is a common video file format with the extension name of .avi. The video quality can be very good at smaller resolutions, but files tend to be rather large. An AVI file can use different codecs and formats, so there is no set format for an AVI file unlike for example standard VCD video which sets a standard for resolution, bit rates, and codecs used.
In saying of AVI is a chunk-based container file format, we are saying that AVI is a derivative of the Resource Interchange File Format (RIFF), which divides a file's data into blocks, or "chunks." Each "chunk" is identified by a FourCC tag. An AVI file takes the form of a single chunk in a RIFF formatted file, which is then subdivided into two mandatory "chunks" and one optional "chunk". [P.S. FourCC (literally, four-character code) is a sequence of four bytes used to uniquely identify data formats. Later, this idea is used to identify compressed data types in QuickTime and DirectShow.
The first sub-chunk is identified by the "hdrl" tag. This sub-chunk is the file header and contains metadata about the video, such as its width, height and frame rate. The second sub-chunk is identified by the "movi" tag. This chunk contains the actual audio/visual data that make up the AVI movie. How to make a movie preview and share on your website
When you were watching movie, do you ever think about to make a preview of the movie? Cut some wonderful clips and add your favorite song as a background would be very interesting. I always dream to do that and finally I find an application which can help me to realize it.
This article will tell you how to use Moyea Flash Video MX Pro to rip the video from your DVD firstly (How to convert DVD to FLV), and then edit it.
Step1. Download and install this software.
After you launch the software, you will see this interface.

Step2. Import DVD files.
Open the drop-down menu (in red) next to the folder button and choose Run DVD Loader. The Browse for Folder dialog pops up. Choose the DVD, and then you can see this interface.
Take a look at the information of the DVD file listed in the list. Then double click the title or a chapter under the title to select it. From the right drop down lists, select the Audio, Subtitle, and Angle for the file you want to convert. Click Load DVD or Load IFO to add more files to the list.
After all of the settings, press OK to return to the main interface.
Step3. Edit your video.
Here what we need to do is to trim some excellent clips for the further editing. Choose your favorite sections and trim. You can insert the exact time or just drag the triangle button. Mostly three clips will be enough, so that mean you need to do this three times. Continue press Next and convert the clips to FLV for further editing.
Step4. Press Next and we can see this interface.
Like I said before, you can convert the DVD files to FLV only by disable Generate Flash (SWF). So when we have had the three clips, import the second clip, and add the first and the last clip in Misc section> Video prelude/ Video curtain. In Replace audio, import your song to replace the original audio. But here I suggest you to generate SWF too, because it can allow you to add beautiful player skin and preloader. And it also can generate .html file for you to use as a webpage directly.
Step5. Press Next, walk in this interface.
In this section you can add player skin, preloader and some special effects. You can also set more parameters under "Profile" tab, such as auto play, auto load, navigation, etc.
Step6. Press Next, into the final step.
Click Start and wait a few seconds we will get what we want.
At last, I will teach you how to embed the SWF file into an HTML page:

Well, have you noticed the mflvplayer.swf in blue? Replace it with the SWF file you generated. Here you can also type in the URL of the SWF, such as http://www.myhomepage.com/mflvplayer.swf

MX SDK consists of two interfaces: Command Line and COM, thanks to which it can be used under a great range of programming languages like: Visual C++, Visual Basic, .Net, ASP, Delphi, PHP, ColdFusion, etc.

This command is to stretch mylogo.jpg to 100x100 in dimension and show the image when the video starts to play and last 10000 milliseconds, and show the image again when there are still 10000 milliseconds to the end of the video, and last 10000 milliseconds with the coordinate (10,10).
flashvideomx -s myvideo.avi myflash -l "mylogo.jpg" -ls 100x100 -la_origin 0 -la_off 10:10
This command is to stretch mylogo.jpg to 100x100 in dimension and show the image from the beginning to the end of the video with the coordinate (10,10).
4. Add characters to the video:

It is to show “Text to show on video” in the top left corner and show the characters when the video starts to play and last 10000 milliseconds, and show the characters again when there are still 10000 milliseconds to the end of the video, and last 10000 milliseconds.

6. Replace the audio data in the video file:
flashvideomx -sv myvideo.avi -sa myaudio.mp3 myflash
It is to replace the audio data in myvideo.avi with myaudio.mp3, and then convert to myflash.flv.
7. No audio:
flashvideomx -s myvideo.avi myflash -i v
This command is to generate an FLV file without audio data.
8. No video:

This command is to generate an FLV file without video data.
9. Get thumbnail picture:

6. Replace the audio data in the video file:

7. No audio:

This command is to generate an FLV file without audio data.

This command is to convert myvideo.avi to myflash.flv, and capture 10 pictures in 120x120 dimension as: mypic01.jpg, mypic02.jpg, ..., mypic10.jpg.
10. Convert the video to FLV with time trimming:
flashvideomx -s myvideo.avi -st 0:300000 myflash
This command is to convert myvideo.avi with 300000 milliseconds from the starting point of the video into myflash.flv.
flashvideomx -s myvideo.avi -st 0:300000 -st e-300000: 300000 myflash
This command is to convert the two video parts in myvideo.avi to myflash.flv. One is the part from the start point to the 300000ms point. The other part is the one from the point 300000ms before the end point to the end point.

How to convert DVD files to SWF directly?
Last week I reviewed The Departed. Man, that is really a good movie and I want to insert a portion into PPT (how to insert SWF into PPT, please refer to http://www.video-to-flash.com/flash-in-powerpoint/ ) which I will use in my class, but firstly I need to convert it to SWF file from the DVD. Maybe you will ask how to convert DVD to SWF? Fortunately, I purchased Flash Video MX Pro a few months ago. With this software I can convert nearly every video format to SWF. For instance, DVD to SWF/FLV, AVI to SWF/FLV, MOV to SWF/FLV, WMV to SWF/FLV, MP4 to SWF/FLV, 3GP to SWF/FLV, MPEG to SWF/FLV, etc.
Anyway, this article will tell you how to convert DVD to SWF directly with Moyea Flash Video MX Pro.
Step1. Download and launch this software.
After you open the software, you will see this interface.
Step2. Import DVD files.
Open the drop-down menu (in red) next to the folder button 
and choose Run DVD Loader. The Browse for Folder dialog pops up. Choose the DVD, and then you can see this interface.

Step5. Press Next, walk in this interface.
